Aroma: Ethereal dense nose of meadowsweet, juniper and dark fruity cherry, red peppers, smoky notes, tobacco and wood reminiscent of a dense 'Blaufränkisch' grape. 
Taste: Strong, dark berries underlaid with earthy notes and much extract. Smoky notes accompany the fine but lingering tannin. Dry with long finish.
Food pairing: beef filet, dark poultry with strong flavoured sauce, lamb with grilled vegetables, dark chocolate dessert
